Leading the ensemble is Alex Lentz\, well-known to the community as the choral director at Monroe High School. The performance will be anchored by Mary Soddy on the grand piano and Patrick Bodell on the bass\, with Dave Mosher providing the narrative thread that guides the audience through the story of the Passion.\n“Upon This Rock\,” composed by Pepper Choplin\, offers a unique perspective on the events of Holy Week by following the journey of the apostle Peter. The music blends rhythmic energy with deep reflection\, moving from the heights of faith to the somber moments of the crucifixion. With Alex Lentz at the helm and our talented local musicians\, it promises to be a moving experience for everyone.\nThe service is free and open to the public. DESCRIPTION:Join CASA of Rock County on Saturday\, April 4th at 11 AM\, for our annual Pinwheels for Prevention event as we come together to raise awareness for child abuse prevention. Once again\, we will plant our Pinwheel Garden on the Rock County Courthouse lawn\, and encourage all to come assist with the planting and raise awareness for Child Abuse Prevention. There will be a small concert put on by students from Lincoln and Edison Elementary\, followed by kid-friendly music while we plant the pinwheels. \nEach pinwheel represents a report of child abuse or neglect received throughout the year in Rock County—serving as both a reminder of the challenges some children face and a symbol of the safe\, joyful childhood every child deserves. This year\, we will plant approximately 3\,000 pinwheels\, turning awareness into action and hope.
