DESCRIPTION:Meet at the parking lot located at the end of the entrance road.\nMuch of this 160-acre arboretum is a beautiful mature forest\, and it also includes a creek\, prairie\, and marsh\, making it an excellent place for birding. In addition to the birds and other wildlife\, many species of native trees\, woodland wildflowers and fungi can be found here. The possible 8 miles of trails at this site vary from easy to moderate\, with some steep slopes for those who want more of a workout. Our hike will cover only 2 miles or less\, but will include some uphills that participants may find challenging; hiking poles are recommended. This event is free and open to the public
