DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Albertson Memorial Library will be hosting their Annual Fall Silent Auction at the Albertson Memorial Library. This auction will be held completely in person. Items will be displayed and available for bid placement\, during library hours (11 am-6 pm M-F & 10 am-1 pm Sat)\, starting Friday\, October 10th until Saturday\, October 25th at 1pm. There will be a thank you reception from 10 am to 1 pm on October 25th\, where patrons can snack and socialize while placing their final bids. \nAll proceeds will be reinvested into the community through various programming initiatives. These funds will be designated for acquiring animals for a family program and securing an author or lecturer for an adult program. The quality and quantity of the programs we can offer will directly depend on the funds raised. \nDonations and fundraising efforts play a vital role in enabling us to provide optimal library services. We aim to raise $2\,500 at this event. Please consider donating toward our auction by contributing an item(s)\, gift certificate(s)\, or your own themed basket for patrons to bid on. Cash donations are also welcome. All donors will be publicized within the library and via multiple media sources. Items may be mailed to or dropped off at Albertson Memorial Library\, 200 N. Water St.\, Albany\, WI 53502. We are also more than willing to pick up any donation at your convenience. Stop to take a picture\nwith our local actors or in front of your favorite scene set.\nThe Hollywood Hayride will take you on a windy path stopping at several star-studded scenes from family-friendly movies and TV shows. At each stop our actors will perform a short skit and riders will receive a small\ntrinket.
