Memorial Day at Emerald Grove – Children Welcome!

The 147th public Memorial Day Observance at 2:00pm is held in the Emerald Grove Church at 8127 E Highway 14, Janesville or listen on FM 89.3 from your car. Featured speaker is Derek Hahn who served in Iraq coordinating and running logistical support missions logging over 20,000 miles in Iraq in 2005. He deployed 3 times in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. Duane Scott will read the veterans’ roll and Danielle Christensen, with her daughters, will provide patriotic music. All may walk to the cemetery to decorate veterans’ graves. Cupcakes and ice cream follow the service. Sponsored by the Emerald Grove Cemetery Auxiliary. Questions call 608-931-0649.
