“Love Is In The Air” Ski-Plane fly-in

The title of this year’s annual Ski-Plane Fly-In event is “Love is in the Air”. February 14th, 2026, 11:00 am -2:00 pm.
At Rockford’s Cottonwood Airport on the cities far northwest side. 5105 Auburn St.

Serving Hot Lunch and snowy landings and take-offs. A fund raiser to support our extensive scholarship program.

Bundle up, and bring your sweetheart (or your tailwheel airplane with or without ski’s) and your camera. This event offers great opportunities for taking pictures. Drive-in guests welcomed warmly too. Enjoy a Valentine’s adventure where winter flying meets warm hearts.
With the right weather this event is huge.
The Rockford Park District 40th Annual Illinois Snow Sculpting Competition will be judged in Rockford’s Sinnissippi Park that day also. Another great photo opportunity.
