Trails in this park are wide\, but some are steep; hiking difficulty is moderate. Be prepared for a long walk up and down in the park. Then we’ll drive a short distance\nto see the earliest spring wildflowers of the Rock River Prairie State Natural Area and look for birds migrating north along the Rock River valley. Hiking difficulty there is easy\, but expect to walk through tall grasses on undeveloped trails.\nThis event is free and open to the public.

DESCRIPTION:Tiana Kalina recently had her third surgery to remove a cancerous tumor from her brain. This surgery was a little bit more challenging than her first two. Tiana recently completed a week treatment of radiation at Mayo Clinic. We’re hoping that this therapy will be the last time Tiana will have to go through this. The traveling and costs are a financial strain on the family. \nWe’re asking for donations to help with this challenging process. \nWe are hosting a benefit at Fast Eddys bar and grill on April 26th 2025 at 1p-5p.
