Check our FB page for updates on where to purchase or contact us. Then bring your books to Bootleggers on Sept 6 and you can win Cash$ and prizes! Also\, that day we are having our Amazing Raffles. You do not have to be there to win. Live Music from BCT 1-4 pm\, Pig Roast with all the sides for a reasonable price! Drawings throughout the Day\, Vendors\, and new kid-friendly items this year! Bounce House\, Face Painting\, Games\, Gabi’s Rocks. Something for Everyone!! All Proceeds we raise go towards suicide awareness and prevention\, as well as scholarships. These Scholarships have preferences (not requirements) for students pursuing a career in a mental health field and for community volunteer work. We do this in Memory of Gabi Dray\, a 2021 Beloit Turner High School graduate who dedicated her life to helping others and consistently achieving high standards. Before depression took her life and she died by suicide\, she had a dream of becoming a Social Worker to make a difference in the world. We do this fundraiser to make her dream come true and also to help fight suicide\, so no other person should lose a loved one to suicide.

DESCRIPTION:Come to our Chicken and Corn Dinner September 7!\nSt. Teresa of Calcutta Pastorate will host its premiere Chicken and Sweet Corn Dinner on Sunday\, September 7 at St. Joseph Church\, 1660 Endl Blvd.\, Fort Atkinson\, Wisconsin.\nThe meal will be served from 11:30 a.m. to about 2 p.m. in the St. Joseph School gym. A drive through carry-out pickup service will also be available.\nThe meal will be a choice of half or quarter of delicious grilled chicken\, fresh sweet corn\, coleslaw\, fresh bread roll\, slice of ripe watermelon and piece of pie. A children’s meal of a hot dog and bun\, ear of corn\, slice of watermelon and a cookie will also be served.\nAuctions and raffles!\nAn online auction that covers a wide variety of arts\, crafts and services including four Packer tickets to the Green Bay vs. Philadelphia Eagles game on November 11 will be starting August 24 and will close at 2:30 p.m. on September 7. Anyone can access the online auction at http://www.pastorate14.org/ and then click on the Events tab at the top right of the page.\nA wide variety of baskets will also be raffled as part of the event and will be set up in the Gathering Space and hallway that leads to the school; the Pastorate-wide raffle for a grand prize of $5\,000 and five $1\,000 cash prizes will take place at 2:30 p.m. Raffle tickets are available from Pastorate members\, parish offices and at the corn and chicken dinner.\nChildren’s games\, too!\nChildren’s games with prizes will also be a highlight of the event and will be held in the tent on the school soccer field from noon to 1:30 p.m.\nAbout St. Teresa of Calcutta Pastorate\nSt Teresa of Calcutta Pastorate is made up of St. Pius X Parish of Cambridge\, St. Joseph Parish of Fort Atkinson\, St. Francis of Assisi Parish of Jefferson\, St. Mary Parish of Milton\, St. Mary Parish of Palmyra and St. Mary Help of Christians Parish of Sullivan. SUMMARY:Tagging Monarch Butterflies
DESCRIPTION:Monarch butterflies are one of the most colorful and widely distributed butterflies in North America. After hatching from eggs\, caterpillars feed on milkweed plants\, form a chrysalis\, and go through their metamorphosis to emerge approximately two weeks later to form the adults that will mate and lay the eggs to hatch into the next generation. This remarkable transformation is easily observed and enjoyed by children and adults. All these life stages will be visible at this program.\nAs the summer ends\, Monarchs begin their long migrations to wintering grounds in the mountain forests of Mexico. This remarkable migratory behavior was discovered by attaching tiny tags to the wings that allow people who capture tagged butterflies to report their locations.\nDuring this program\, participants will be able to help capture and tag the butterflies for the study of their migration. This program is highly recommended for families with children or for anyone who would enjoy a day outdoors catching butterflies in the sunshine.\nThis event is free and open to the public.
