DESCRIPTION:“Emerald Crossing” Vacation Bible School at Cornerstone Lutheran Church of Argyle with the Covenant Youth Ministry Team June 22-26th. \nCornerstone Lutheran Church of Argyle will host a four member Summer Team from the Association of Free Lutheran Bible School\, Minneapolis\, Minnesota\, June 22 through June 26th. The Covenant Team members will help lead five fun-filled mornings of vacation Bible school at Cornerstone Lutheran Church. Each themed day of VBS includes stories\, puppets\, music\, games\, and hands-on activities. All children ages 4 through 6th grade are invited to join the Emerald Crossing- An Irish Adventure through Psalm 23.\nCovenant team members are extensively trained in children’s ministry\, these students are spending the summer traveling through the Midwest\, assisting AFLC congregations with VBS programs\, summer youth camps\, and other areas of service.\nDaily VBS at Cornerstone Lutheran Church just south of town on Old Hwy 81 will be held June 22nd – 26th from 8:00 to noon. A hearty breakfast will be served starting at 7:30 am. Snacks and craft supplies and learning materials are included for all participants. Transportation can be arranged for those that need rides.\nThe VBS program is no charge but we will be taking donation of paper products for the Argyle Food Pantry (toilet paper\, Kleenex\, napkins)

Get ready to dive into a world of stories\, crafts\, and dino-mite activities all about the mighty Megalodon. (The Megalodon is extinct species of giant mackerel shark that lived from the early Miocene to the early Pliocene epochs and was most commonly found in oceans with subtropical to temperate latitudes.) \nWe will be offering three sessions:\n• A 10-11 a.m. session\, recommended for children pre-k through kindergarten.\n• A 1-2 p.m. session\, recommended for children 1st grade and up.\nWe recognize that families may have children in both age groups\, so please feel free to attend just one of these sessions with all your children. Keep in mind that each session is tailored to that specific age group\, so the activities and information may vary in complexity based on the session you choose.\n• All ages are welcome back at 6:30 p.m. for a family movie night.
