Protecting Pollinators While Managing Pests with Julie Hill (UW Extension Rock County)
Join us at Rotary Botanical Gardens for an important and practical evening session on how to protect pollinators while managing pests in your home landscape.
Learn the basics of Integrated Pest Management (IPM), how to properly read pesticide labels, the difference between systemic and contact pesticides, and the effects of commonly used ingredients on bees and other pollinators.
Julie Hill from UW Extension will guide us through strategies that support pollinator health without sacrificing your garden’s productivity. You’ll leave with tools to make more informed, eco-friendly choices in your own yard.
