DESCRIPTION:Rotary Botanical Gardens will host a free community event on Saturday\, March 7\, 2026\, in celebration of Aldo Leopold Week\, honoring the life and legacy of Aldo Leopold\, widely regarded as the father of modern conservation. \nThe event will take place from 9:00 AM to 12:15 PM and includes a documentary screening\, group discussion\, and guided tour of the gardens. While the event is free to attend\, pre-registration is required and no walk-ins will be accepted. \nThe morning begins with check-in\, light refreshments\, and a poetry reading\, followed by a screening of Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time\, a documentary exploring Leopold’s work and the ongoing relevance of his land ethic. (not just restricted for seniors or homeschoolers\, anyone can join!) \nThrusday\, March 12th at 1:15pm and Friday March 13th at 1:15pm. Tickets are only $5/person these days.\nThe rest of the shows are March 14th @ 7pm and 15th @ 1pm . Tickets are $10 for students and seniors and $15 for adults. \nTickets for March 12th and 13th can be purchased at the door!
