Prosecutors file another car theft charge against a Janesville man who was previously accused of supplying stolen vehicles for a chop shop operation in the city.

The new charge for Isack Monday, 25, is in connection with the theft of a Dodge Challenger from a dealership in Fond du Lac in 2024. That car was one of at least nine taken from multiple dealerships in Illinois and Wisconsin that authorities have linked to the resale ring.

Monday signed a $2,000 signature bond on the new charge on Thursday. He was also in court for a status conference on his previous charges the same day, and another hearing in that case was scheduled for May 19.

Three other men mentioned in Monday’s new criminal complaint, Brett Padilla-Colon and Zachary M. Mackey of Janesville and Myqwon A. Greer of Rockford, are also facing several related charges, including theft, receiving stolen property and altering vehicle identification numbers. There is a warrant out for Greer’s arrest.

As previously reported by WCLO in April 2025, officers went to a home on South Parker Drive in Janesville to arrest Padilla-Colon for a drive by shooting in Oklahoma.

Padilla-Colon fled the home in a stolen Dodge Challenger before police could speak with him. Officers discontinued the chase after speeds reached 130 mph on Racine Street.

A search of the Parker Drive home turned up cash, guns and drugs.

In March, police had received a tip that Padilla-Colon and Monday had been parting out stolen vehicles or changing the VIN numbers and selling them out of a rented garage on Commercial Drive on Janesville’s north side.
