The city of Beloit is getting ready for the Beloit Memorial High School Homecoming parade next week. City of Beloit spokeswoman Sarah Lock says the parade begins at 2 p.m. on North Street on Wednesday October 1st. Lock says the parade has been moved to Wednesday this year to accommodate the needs for event security. The city will be placing officers along the parade route. Planned events and activities at the high school will still take place as scheduled during the week.
