Authorities say they do not suspect foul play after they found a person dead on the Ice Age trail on Janesville’s east side early Saturday.
Janesville police say they responded to a call of person laying in the bike tunnel under Highway 14 near North Wuthering Hills Drive about 7:30 a.m. Saturday.
Police say they found the person laying dead on the paved bike trail in the tunnel.
Police say the death appears to have occurred under “non-criminal circumstances.”
Officers closed the section of trail for a couple of hours early Saturday as they investigated.
As of Sunday, authorities have declined to release more details.
