The Janesville fire and police departments are holding a child safety seat inspection event next month. Firefighter Chad Hopkins says the Child Safety Seat program holds monthly events where certified child safety seat technicians inspect and instruct individuals on proper safety seat use. The next event takes place July 10th at Janesville Fire Station #1 at 303 Milton Avenue. Each inspection takes around 30 minutes and is free of charge. Parents are encouraged to make an inspection appointment by contacting the Janesville Fire Department.
